Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm the blonde, adult one. I'm 44-years-old, and live in Meanjin, otherwise known as Brisbane, Australia.

I'm a single Mum to two daughters - fierce and sensitive Ivy, aged 7, and feisty, fearless Luca, who is 4.

A few years ago, I had a gnarly case of postnatal depression and anxiety which put me in hospital for 3 weeks. 

I still struggle with anxiety, and I like to talk about it. In fact, I like to talk and share stories a lot.

And because the world definitely needs another Mum blogger, I plan to share all the things that light my fire including but not limited to mental health, feminism, social justice, pregnancy and birth, infertility and miscarriage, rainbow families, and, of course, motherhood.

When it comes to motherhood and parenting, I'll certainly celebrate the good bits, but promise to be honest about the shit bits. Can't say I won't apply the odd Instagram filter, though. I mean, I'm a feminist, not a masochist.
